Google has released additional updates to Docs and Drive. Here are two updates we wanted to highlight to everyone: 1) Drive will now do spelling recognition - if your spelling is a little off, the search feature in Drive will recommend search words to you. This can be very helpful to our students who may have had frustration searching in Drive. 2) You can now add columns to a Google Doc! In the past a table was the only way to add a column. Now the page can be divided into columns. Click on "Format" then "Columns." Both of these updates will roll-out slowly to all district Google accounts over the next week.
